Our Northern Michigan Ecstatic Dance community gathers outdoors at local parks throughout the summer on the First and Third Tuesdays of every month. The opening circle for Ecstatic Dance begins at 7:07pm. Learn more: https://www.nomiecstatic.dance/

In this summer series, I will guide creative dance warmups, games, and explorations before the Ecstatic Dance gatherings. Whether you are new to free form movement, or an advanced mover already, this class is full of prompts to playfully explore your range of motion AND kinesthetic imagination. Working solo, in pairs, and as a group, you will have space to express yourself by practicing authentic movements, i.e. moving your body based on how it feels in the moment, based on stimuli such as sounds, objects, and ideas.
